Sometime in the early 2010's, formerly musically oriented MTV decided to take time out of Real World and Teen Mom seasons to start making some scripted television that people thought was actually halfway decent. In today's episode, we take a look at one of the first entries in this genre, 2011 MTV teen comedy Awkward. Welcome back to Pilot Inspectors. Amazon has just released the first season of The Man in the High Castle, based on the Philip K. Dick novel. The show is set in 1962, in an alternate timeline in which the US lost World War II to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Watch the pilot episode on Amazon, then listen to hear us talk about everything from the Simpsons superfans to Trump's presidential run, and a little bit about the show as well.
